A Step In The Dark - DT-call

I decided to try out for a DT-call at A Step In The Dark, so worked with a Rick ST Dennis image "Hexology" and made into a calendar page for my May/June page.

I started with coloring the image with a lot of different promarkers, added a dark grey around the image and thought it lacked something to make it stand out. I added crackle accent to the skull, the hand and the bone piece. After it dried it looks great and gave them an old look. =) Then I added two brads to the bottles and some cheese cloth behind the image and gave it a dirty look with a black stamppad. For the final touch I added a skull charm and glued it all on with my little gluegun. Added a black cs for the backing and glued it on to my calendar, finsihed! =) The dp is from Delicious Doodles, more skulls, yay! =)

·         Create a voluntary papercraft project once a month for the freebie

·         Comment on challenge entries

·         Pop in at the CDAC and PCP DS4J groups to interact with the members

Art With No Boundaries - Anything goes A frame of mind DT-call

Time for a new challenge at Art With No Boundaries, first we have the Anything Goes challenge where you can submit anything you want and then we have the subtheme/bonus round challenge: A frame of mind, where you need to have a frame of some kind on your project! =)

We all got to use different frames, mine this time was the Striped circular petal frame and I also used Hildie for the focus in my frame! =) 

I printed out the frame and Hildie, colored them both and cut them out, the I used the frame to put the focus on Hildie and added them to an old coaster I found when I was searching for something else! =)

Dax för en ny utmaning hos Art With No Boundaries, först har vi vår "Allt funkar" utmaning, där ni kan delta med vad ni vill, sedan har vi vårt undertema/bonus omgång utmaning: A frame of mind,  där ni måste inkludera en ram av någon sort på ert projekt! =)

Vi söker nu designteam medlemmar fortfarande, vill ni veta mer så kan ni klicka på länken ovan!

Till denna utmaningen fick vi använda olika ramar, den jag fick använda denna gången heter Striped circular petal fram och jag använde också Hildie som fokus i min ram. =)

Jag skrev ut ramen och Hildie separat, färglade båda och klippte ut dem, sedan använde jag ramen för att sätta fokus på Hildie och klistrade fast dem på ett gammal glasunderlägg som jag hittade när jag letade efter något helt annat! =)

Week 2 - Art With No Boundaries Anything goes/Fit to be tied challenge

Here is a reminder for our Anything goes/Fit to be tied challenge at Art With No Boundaries and this time I made a card with one of the Spirelli templates! =) I used a sentiment too that I got sometime! =)

Don't forget that we have a design team call also, so if you want to join our team you are welcome to apply! =)

The template is cut out, added tape with spots on it and inked around the edges, then added some twine and a sentiment that is fastened with 3D pillows! =) The template is added to the cardbase with 3D pillows! =)

Här är en påminnelse för vår Allt funkar/Klart att bli knutet utmaning hos Art With No Boundaries och denna gången gjorde jag ett kort med en av Spirelli mallarna! Jag använde även ett citat jag fick någon gång!

Glöm inte att vi söker ny medlemmar till vårt designteam nu också, så vill ni vara med så är ni välkomna att skicka in en ansökan! =)

Jag klippte ut mallen, lade tre bitar mönstrad tejp över och använde en blå stämpeldyna till att färga in kanterna med, sedan lade jag till ett snöre runt mallen och citat är fastsatt med 3D kuddar, vilket även mallen är på kortbasen! =)

Crafting with Jack - Charm and Summer colors challenge

This is my first post as a new member of "Crafting with Jack" design team, it was afun surprise when I got a mail from Angela saying I was an official member of the team! =)

This weeks theme is Charm and using bright summer colors, we got to use the wonderful gecko called "Charm".  I made printed two images and played with them and created a card that shows off Charms good camouflauge! =)

Detta är mitt första inlägg för Crafting with Jack som deras nya deigsnteam medlem, det var en glad överraskning när jag fick Angelas mail igår att jag nu var officiellt med i teamet! =)

Denna veckas tema är Charm och använda fina ljusa sommarfärger, vi fick använda den underbara geckoödlan "Charm". Jag skrev ut två bilder och lekte med dem och skapade ett kort som verkligen visar upp Charms goda kamoflauge! =)

I'm trying out for another designteam and this time it's Crafting with Jack, a new one for me and I think they have some lovely stamps so here is my card for the DT-call! =) 

We had to use this wonderful butterfly! =)

Lia Stampz DT-call

I thought I'd try out for Lia Stampz DT-call, I just love the stamps and it would be a wonderful opportunity to join their team. 

Here is one card I made with the Flower Fairy, another win from the blog hop and I've added all the other creations I've made so far with her wonderful stamps! =)
