Art With No Boundaries Ezine January's Issue

The new issue of Art With No Boundaries is out and there are a lot about Valentine here but also some new techniques and fun articles about embellishments and how to work with digital stamps!

The one article I liked a little more is "Wire, trinkets and charms" by Chris Stern, since it's about creating your own decorations/embellishments by using different kinds of wires and that they can be used for so many things, not only for looking good but also to hold paper onto a creation and make things stick together!
Why I like it is because I have a box with lot's of wire and now I can find some more use for the spare bit's and pieces I have saved! =)

I just have to say that I had good use of Candy's article about how to use MS Word to change the colors of digital stamps, lot's of great ideas and good step by step instructions there! =)

Mid-challenge reminder #58: Oh my... how time flies!

Time for us in Team B to have the mid-challenge reminder of challenge #58 - "Oh my... how time flies" at Digistamps4Joy! =)

There is a lot of different ways to interpret this challenge and I used the lovely image "Dream" for my card.
When I dream time sure flies fast and I think that applies to more people than me too! =)

I didn't have time to choose an image but I really like Diva Dianna! I just had to use my favorite color green for her and she turned out to be a stunner! =)

So here is my card that I'm sending to a friend as a belated birthday card + a little surprise! =)

Guest Artist at Art With No Boundaries Ezine Vol 2

I was asked if I wanted to be a Guest Artist at Art With No Boundaries Ezine for January, so I decided to accept and this is what I made for it! =)

Victorian Valentine Heart

I bought this heart in wood with silver coloring at a sale 2 years ago and left it in a drawer and found it when I was looking for something else just before christmas!
I realized that it would be perfect for a Valentine hanging, so decided to work with it!

The things I used for this is a wood heart, soft pink cardstock, promarkers, glitter pen, ribbon and glue!
The designs used from CS Designs are: Angel Face x 2, Victorian Deco Heart 1 and How do I love thee background.

I first printed out the background on soft pink cardstock and traced the heart so that I would get a good background fit inside the heart, next I glued the background to the back of the heart. After that I printed out the Angel Face and mirrored one of them, colored her in soft tones and added some silver in her eyes! I also colored the heart and cut out the rest of the designs and placed them inside the frame!
I added a ribbon on the back as a hanger with my gluegun! 

I'm happy with the how it turned out and think it will be a fantastic hanging for Valentine's Day!

Time for a new NanaVic's challenge and it's an Anything goes this time too!  You have the chance to win a $15 if you are using a NanaVic image, or you can win a $12 in the random.org draw! =)

We all in the design team got to choose an image to work with and sicne I'm a fan of monsters I couldn't resit to use this sweetie and make a card with the sentiment that came along too! =)

2013 är här, med bilder =)

Då var det ett nytt år och nya utmaningar, en ledig dag kvar på jullovet och sedan tillbaka till jobbet på tisdag igen!

Julen firades hos killens familj på julafton och hos mamma på juldagen, ska visa lite julklappar så småningom, måste bara redigera lite kort! =)
Hann med ett biobesök efter det, så har sett The Hobbit nu, den var bra och tiden flög iväg! Efter det så blev det en torsdagsmiddag med pizza, som motvikt till all julmat!
Hade en lugn helg och efter det tog vi tåget upp till Älvsbyn och firade nyår med mina kompisar + några till! Vi hade knytkalas, så en av tjejerna fixade förrätt, C varmrätt och jag efterrätten! Det blev en after eight chokladtårta, den blev mycket mumsig! =)

Lite fyrverkerier som lyckades fastna på bild, vi skickade bara upp ballonger!

Tisdagen tog vi det lugnt, en promenad och sedan en tur till linedance gänget och pizza, efteråt blev det guitar hero och lite Big Bang Theory! =)
Onsdagen spelades spel, en tur på byn och hemåt med tåget på kvällen!

Torsdag ordnade jag lite saker här hemma och åkte sedan med till killens familj, spelade spel och hade en trevlig kväll! Fredag firade vi hans lillasyster med tårta och paket på morgonen, tog en promenad ute i det fina vädret och sedan blev det mer spel, tacos till middag och lite Super Mario Kart och Super Smash Bros innan vi puzzlade lite!
Lördag ganska lugnt, vi fick skjuts till tåget och när jag kom hem så blev det en tur på stan med mor och syster. Sedan fikade jag med en god vän på Kafé Station, det var mycket trevligt! =)
Tog en promenad till mamma, åt middag med henne och syster och såg på tv!
Idag blev det sovmorgon och sedan cykeltur till mamma, sett skidor och sytt två par panelgardiner + en duk! Imorgon ska jag fixa mina trasiga glasögon (tur jag har två par), pyssla lite och bara ta det lugnt! =)

Bilder får komma senare, kan tydligen inte överföra något just nu, blogger har nåt problem! Löste det med att installera Google Chrome! =)
