Art With No Boundaries - Anything Goes & Just Clowning Around Part 1

Time for a new theme and challenge at Art With No Boundaries, as usual the Anything Goes + Just Clowning Around Part 1 for the bonus round! =)

We got to use different Harlequin images and the Spirelli kit that Chris from CS Designs has created!

I used the oval shaped Harlequin and colored her first with my promarkers, then cut her out and placed her on the Spirelli rectangle shape. 

I had colored the edges on the spirelli shape + wrapped fuzzy ribbon around so it looks like she has a nice collar on! =) Then I added a selfadhesive magnet to the back and got a very beautiful magnet! =)

A new challenge blog: Recycle, Re-Purpose & Re-Invent

A new recycle blog has seen the light: Recycle, Re-Purpose & Re-Invent, it's for all of us that save things that can be used for making cards, scrapbooking or other projects! =)

Our first challenge is a "Anything goes" challenge and you must use at least one "recycled" object on your creation.

Remember we also want to know not only what you used but the how to and what you did to it to make it work in our project.

We in the designteam could use whatever we had at home and I had saved a candy box and made a whole new design on the lid! =)I used one of CS Designs sentiments for the lid called "Ever changing moment"!

What’s the strangest thing you have been hoarding for the
purpose of using it in your art and how do you plan to use it?

The strangest thing I have saved to use for crafting is maybe little cheeseboxes, atleast what I can find now!

Art With No Boundaries - Fashionista with green

This time for Art With No Boundaries challenge I've made a quilted card using green scraps of paper and added the sentiment "I love being me" from CS Designs! 

I love green so this is me, I also added green lampshade ribbons for the card and a little stickles just for fun! =)

Denna gången för Art With No Boundaries utmaning har jag gjort ett lapptäckskort och använt gröna restpapper och lade till texten "Jag älskar att vara mig" från CS Designs! 

Jag älskar grönt så detta är jag, sedan lade jag till gröna band för lampskärmar och för att göra det lite roligare så lade jag till glitterlim! =)

Art With No Boundaries: Challenge 4 - Fashionista + News

I got some great news, I'm now a fulltime designteam member and I'm soo happy about that! =)

On to the new challenge here at Art With No Boundaries which is nr.4 and it's called "Fashionista"! 

This fortnight we want to see your "fashion" creations using something from your "sewing supplies"

for example buttons, zips, fabric, pins, cotton or stitches - use your imagination!! =)

I used one of the new images from CS Designs, the lace dressform and a new sentiment also created by Chris Stern for my card!

The inspiration for the coloring came from this fabric, which is what I have left after making a gift of it earlier:

I used the dragonfly's wings for my card, the colors on the fabric got a bit brighter, but you can see the finished card below and how th wings match with the dress. Also added a piece of ribbon on the left side!

Jag har lite nyheter, efter en månad som gästdesigner är jag nu en fullvärdig medlem i designteamet och jag är så glad över det! =)

Denna månadens utmaning hos Art With No Boundaries heter "Fashionista" och det är den 4:e utmaningen!

Temat är att använda något från din sylåda, knappar, tyg, blixtlås eller helt enkelt att sy på kortet, bara att använda dig av din fantasi! =)

Jag använde ett tyg som jag hade i min gömma som färginspiration, som ni ser ovan, det har också använts till en present tidigare! Ur det klippte jag ut trollsländans vingar och även om tyget blev ganska färgstarkt så ser nu ovan på kortet hur färgerna i vingarna gå igen i klänningen på modelldockan!

Jag lade även till ett litet band på sidan av bilden!

Art with No Boundaries - Don't waste it challenge 2

The new challenge for "Art with No Boundaries" is all about recycling and the thing you should use is something from Valentine's Day, candy wrapper, chocolate box, flowers, a card and turn it into a card/creation! =)

I had saved some of those covers that are in chocolate boxes over the chocolate and I put mine thru the cuttlebug and into a wood grain embossingfolder, turned out pretty neat! 

I used a chalk pad and ran that over it, added a doilie and a "New Ocean" image from CS Designs! I had some glitter fishes that I added to give it a more ocean feel! =)

Den nya utmaningen hos "Art with No Boundaries" handlar om återvinning och det du ska återvinna är något från Alla hjärtans dag, godispapper, chokladlåda, blommor, ett kort och göra det till ett kort eller någon annan skapelse! =)

Jag hade sparat det vita papperet från chokladaskar som täcker chokladen och lade det i en embossing folder med trämönster, det blev rätt läckert! 

Sedan använde jag en chalkdyna och drog det över papperet, lade till en doilie och "New Ocean" digitala stämpeln från CS Designs! Jag hade några glittriga fiskar över som jag lade till för att få lite mer av en havskänsla! =)

Art with No Boundaries - Let the Dancer in you Escape part 2

There is still one more week to join in on the "Let the Dancer in you Escape" challenge at Art with No Boundaries! 

For this weeks inspiration I have used Minuet and had the perfect background paper for her! =)

Also added a sentiment from Chris own design! =)

Art with No boundaries has another challenge that runs the whole month "Don't waste it"and I made a wall hanging for it, I used an old pice of paper from a paper pad's backpaper, scraps of paper for the "lace" and the back of a journaling square! =) Found some currogated paper I had bought this summer too!

Also used CS Designs Aisan Square Akino!

Going to re-use some ribbon for hanging it up, but can't find it right now! =)

Art with No Boundaries Challenge 3 - Let the dancer in you escape

Time for a new challenge at Art with No Boundaries "Let the dancer in you escape". 

This time we got to work with Chris from CS Designs new "Express yourself" designs and I used a diamond background, Plié and a sentiment, all created by Chris! 

I love to dance so it's fun to make a dancethemed card!

Dax för en ny utmaning hos Art with No Boundaries "Låt dansaren inom dig komma ut".

Denna gången fick vi jobba med Chris från CS Designs nya "Uttryck dig själv" designs och jag använde en diamantbakgrund, Plié och ett ordspråk, alla skapade av Chris!

Jag älskar att dansa så det var kul att göra ett danstema kort!

Godisburk/Candy jar

Jag har använt några av CS Designs nya hjärtan och en perfekt Alla hjärtan dags text till att dekorera en plåtburk som ska fyllas med choklad till någon trevlig på Alla hjärtans dag! =)

I have used some of CS Designs new hearts and a Valentine sentiment to deocorate a tin jar I had saved, going to fill it with chocolate and give it so someone nice on Valentine's Day! =)

I'm happy to say that I'm a guest designer for Art With No Boundaries for February, couldn't say no to an offer like that!

Jag var bara tvungen att göra ett till kort till Art With No Boundaries "Änglar och vingar" utmaning! =)

Denna gången använde jag Priscilla's Attitude och ett par gyllene vingar!

Art With No Boundaries nya utmaning handlar om änglar och vingar vilket gav mig ett perfekt tillfälle att testa en ny sak som jag hittade hos Whiff of Joy! Man skulle göra en dekoration av gamla toarullar och det gick jättebra, använde en stämplad bild från Whiff of Joy också!

Art With No Boundaries new challenge is about Angels and Wings and it gave me a perfect opportunity to try anre thing I found at Whiff of Joys Inspirational- & Tutorial blog! =) 

It's to make a recycled decoration from old toiletpaper rolls! =)

Sassy Studio Designs Halloween challenge & Hop

Sassy Studio Designs has a Halloween hop and a challenge, I've done the hop and thought I'd use the Steampunk Josephine frame freebie and make her into a Halloween card. I uesd 6 items from the list.

So here is my card and I hope you will like it, I had a lot of fun building it and are really getting into the steampunk theme! =)

CDAC Progressive freebie challenge 4 - Sixth card

Here is my sixth and final card for CDAC Progressive Freebie Challenge, I just love Halloween and this was also fun to make, the cat looks a little sceptical but looks out from behind the pumpkin from Designed2Delight! =)

digi and colored it on fall colors, used a piece of pasteboard and brads! =)

Art With No Boundaries Anything goes September

I had to make a card for Art With No Boundaires new challenge since "Anything goes" can include anything! =)

I won a few images earlier and made a card now with one of them, Asian Square Akino, here is my card! =)

Jag bara var tvungen att göra ett kort till Art With No Boundaries nya utmaning eftersom "Allt funkar" kan innebära vad som helst! =)

Jag vann några digitala bilder tidigare och gjorde ett kort med en av dem, Akino! =)

Art With No Boundaries Ocean theme week 2

It's time for a new challenge at Art With No Boundaries and it's Ocean week 2, so of course I had to make an ocean themed altered paperbag this time! 

I got a bunch of bags from a mall here in town and altered it with Meljens Design "Seafloor coral"! On one side the coral is red as you see, on the other purple, but haven't taken a photo of that side yet, it will be added here later!

I added a sentiment I found online that I really liked when I first read it! =)

 Art With No Boundaries har en ny utmaning nu och det är Havet som gäller igen vecka 2. 

Jag fick tag i några papperpåsar från Strömpilen och gjorde om dem med Meljens designs "Sjörkorall golv" och lade till ett citat som jag fastnade för direkt när jag läste det på nätet! 

Denna sidan har en röd korall, den andra en lila, men har inte hunnit fota den sidan ännu!
