RRR - October Challenge Halloween & No Bones About It

I have recycled a chocolate box into a creation for Recycle, Re-Purpose & Re-Invent's October challenge "Halloween and No Bones About It", heard about this challenge just before I left the DT and have finally found me some bones, the are made of foam and cut from the skulls.
I used one of the faces from the Little Charmers Face Collection and a sentiment I got earlier from Chris at CS Designs! =)

The box has a window and on the inside I put the face with her bony hair on 3D pillows, added the skulls as a "body" and the sentiment on top of the original text for the blackcurrant chocolate. I mostly saved the box since it had this beautiful embossing on it's side! =)

Recycle, Re-Purpose and Re-Invent Anything Goes September

Finally time for another challenge at the Recycle, Re-Purpose & Re-Invent blog and this time is a Anything Goes, so you can make whatever you want as long as you recycle something! =)
There are some amazing projects done and they are a great inspiration! =)

We are also welcoming Wendy as our special guest designer this month! =)

My sister gives me little boxes and things for me to use while crafting, so I got this mascara box earlier and have been planning to make something out of it, so decided to make a little giftbox from it! =)

I used the face from the Funky Art Doll kit that are coming soon and colored them in grey, silver and blue colors, added some patterned paper to cover it and painted on the front and one of the sides! =) Added a plastic cover from a watch to make the center image pop a little!

This is how it looked before the make over:

This is the final result:

Recycle, Re-Purpose & Re-Invent

Here is my new creation for our new challenge at Recycle, Re-Purpose & Re-Invent! =)

I bought a canvas painting on sale but when I put it up it was all wrong, so I painted over the image with green and blue paint, made some patterns with punchinella, it was very popular in cardmaking and scrapbooking earlier.
Then I used the New Oceans Montage Sentiment Round from CS Designs and added two woodskewers I saved from when I bought chicken skewers for dinner earlier, I used sandpaper on them and painted them with my promarkers.
Wrapped some twine around them to get a sea feeling and to me they resemble old oars! =)
Added some paper seashells that I cut out from a sheet, couldn't figure out how to add real ones!

Recycle, Re-Purpose & Re-Invent Challenge - Anything Goes

For this month we are only having the Anything Goes theme at Recycle, Re-Purpose & Re-Invent, but that still includes using something recycled on your project, so that's what we did!

My favorite chocolate filled with ginger and lemon had a special during christmas and I save the bag for future use, so for this challenge it was perfect since I wanted to make something for my sister that's been to Japan for over 2 weeks! =)

So I started with the bag and covered it with a purple papperned paper, had some tricky cutting around the window and the closing part in the back, but made it work!
Added the "Expressive heart 2" and the sentiment "You're Special" to the bag, which is now filled with chocolate! =) Also added some glossy accents to the hearts and the eyes! =)

I you want to check out some more Expressive hearts and CS Designs other digital stamps, just click HERE!

We also want to welcome Beverly Gotthardt to our designteam! =)

Recycle, Re-Purpose & Re-Invent: Anything goes & Heavy metal

Our new Recycle, Re-Purpose and Re-Invent challenge is live now and there are two themes, Anything Goes and Heavy Metal! =)

For the Anything goes theme you have to use something recycled and for the subtheme Heavy metal something made of metal to celebrate Father's day or the men in our lives!

My father lives a few miles from me, so have used small screws and metal rings I found in my toolbox from some forgotten project! =)
Then I used some wire I had left from making hedgeghogs, everything ended up in a small wallhanging with one of the sentiments called Heavy Metal! =) The image is from CS Designs and are called "Metal & Screws"!
The image is printed on some cardboard that I got in a package earlier!

We also welocme three new members to our Design Team now and they are:

Looking forward to see all of your creations, come and join us in this fun challenge and use up some of you recycled item, since I think I'm not the only one saving things for future use! =)

A new challenge blog: Recycle, Re-Purpose & Re-Invent

A new recycle blog has seen the light: Recycle, Re-Purpose & Re-Invent, it's for all of us that save things that can be used for making cards, scrapbooking or other projects! =)

Our first challenge is a "Anything goes" challenge and you must use at least one "recycled" object on your creation.
Remember we also want to know not only what you used but the how to and what you did to it to make it work in our project.
We in the designteam could use whatever we had at home and I had saved a candy box and made a whole new design on the lid! =)I used one of CS Designs sentiments for the lid called "Ever changing moment"!

Here is April's Bonus Round Question

What’s the strangest thing you have been hoarding for the
purpose of using it in your art and how do you plan to use it?
The strangest thing I have saved to use for crafting is maybe little cheeseboxes, atleast what I can find now!

If you want to play in the Bonus Round,
please answer the question above in your submission post

Remember you must submit a recycle project to our challenge
and answer both parts of the Bonus Round question to be eligible to win.
