Smudgy Antics Midway reminder for December's challenge

Time for the last post at Smudgy Antics for us in the DT, since the challenge is closing down in the end of December!

As usual it's Anything goes and if you want to add a twist, use Creepmas as your theme! =)

I did some recycling, we went to After Work and had hamburgers last Friday, so I saved the plastic decorations from the burgers and made Christmas decorations instead. =)

So here are one not so usual Christmas character and the text "God Jul" that means Merry Christmas in swedish! Will add more pics later of the other decorations whenI get some better lightning! =)

The Vampire Bunny got to make an apparence in green and red this time! =) Flanked by my "God Jul" signs he's taken place in the orchid on the windowsill! =)

Don't forget that you have to use a Smeared Ink rubber stamp or digital stamp to enter our challenge, otherwise you're not in the draw for a prize! =)

Smudgy Antics December challenge

It's time for the last challenge at Smudgy Antics for this year and since the challenge blog is closing due to few entries this will sadly be the last challenge!

As usual it's Anything Goes with a twist of Creepmas, so make this really creepy if you can and don't forget that you have to use a Smeared Ink image, digital or rubber to enter this challenge!

I used the little creeper MiSk for my Creepmas card and colored with my promarkers, the clothing got a candy cane look and the bow a nice green tone. =) Blue and white hair looked good too! =)

For the background I used a brown cs + scraps from the drippy go punch. Then I added this onto a creepy christmas paper and finally a red cs as the cardbase. =) Almost forgot, added a half pearl to one of the eyes as a creepy detail. =)

Hope you will join in on this last challenge!

Smeared Ink November challenge Anything Goes + a twist

A new challenge for Smeared Ink starts today at Smudgy Antics! As usual it's Anything Goes with the optional twist of "Metal Madness"! =)

I used three different images this time: It's about time pocketwatch, Specimen jar and label from The Specimen Jar rubber stamp set.

All the images are colored with promarkers + a silver gel pen for the lid and the watches. Added some poisonous fumes in the jar and outside. For the labtable I used tinfoil to add a little more metal to my card! =) The background is a scrap paper with a faint pattern and I used gray cardstock for the card base. The clock on the table is raised up with 3D pillows.

So come and join in and remember that you have to use a Smeared Ink digital or rubber image on your project! =)

Smudgy Antics Midway reminder - Anything Goes with a twist

Time for the midway reminder for our Smudgy Antics Anything Goes challenge, with the optional twist of Ghosts and Ghouls! =)

I made a  wallhanging with Toy and Kingston, in a scary forest, or that was my intention! =)

First I colored all the images with my promarkers, then let them dry and cut them all out with my scissors. Added a half pearl to Kingston's eye and  raised him up on 3D pillows + one of  Toy too.
Then I went to look for paper, didn't end up with the first ones but found one in a pack that I used to make threes of.
Also found a Graphics 45 paper with a nice sign that looked perfect together with Toy x 3 and Kingston. =)

For the last touch I used my Drippy Goo punch that I got for my birthday, finally it's mine! =)

Scanned the wall hanging so not sure if the 3D effect is visible but it looks good to me!

Don't forget to join our challenge and that you must use a Smeared Ink image, digital or rubber + link back to our challenge and to your blogpost and not only your blog's address. =)

Forgot to tell you about the sale, just go to Smeared Ink and you will find a lot of fantastic images! =)

Smudgy Antics October challenge - Anything Goes with a twist

Time for Octobers challenge at Smudgy Antics and as usual Anything Goes, there is a twist this time too and that is Ghosts and Ghouls! =)

As always, you have to use a Smeared Ink stamp to join this challenge, rubber or digital! =)

Now to the fun part, I used one of the new digis called Sorrow for my card and was inspired by a book I recently read. It's called Anna dressed in blood by Kendare Blake!

I colored Sorrow, as a ghost, in gray tones and added red for the eyes, tears and lips. Cut her out from the white paper and added her to a background with spiderwebb. Then added another red patterend paper just behind the spiderwebb, to make it stand out a little more. For the cardbase I used a black cs and then just a few small half pearls as a the final touch.

Hope you will like our new challenge and come and join in! =)

Smudgy Antics Midway reminder post for Septembers challenge

Midway reminder for our challenge at Smudgy Antics, theme "Anything goes" with the optional twist "Feeling a Lil' Grumpie". =)

I made a card with one of the new images, she's fabulous, just lost her head a little and she's called "Headless". =) I matched her with a Lil' Grumpie quote!

I colored her with my promarkers, added some highlights with my white pen and think she turned out great, for another time I will add more shine to the blood on her neck. =)

Smeared Ink is back and here are the new challenge + hop for September

Smeared Ink is back again and to celebrate that we are having a blog hop here at Smudgy Antics! =)

I wanted to make something fun so used three dancing skeletons for my card, colored them and then added crackle accent on them for a more cracked look. Cut them out and added them to the card with just a little glue so that the limbs looks like they are moving. =)
Used a Christmas paper with party lights on it for the background + a Grumpie quote and a text I came up with. =) "what are you looking at." are the Grumpie quote and "haven't you seen skeletons dance before?" are my invention.

So hope you will like this festive card and join us on this new challenge "Anything goes" with the optional twist this month which is "Feeling a little grumpy". =) Just remember to use a Smeared Ink image, rubber stamp or digital stamp!

The blog roll for the hop is here below, so get hopping! =)

I'm adding this card to the following challenges:

Smudgy Antics August challenge - Anything Goes

A new challenge is up at Smudgy Antics and the optional twist this month is "Creepy Creatures." =)

For my DT-project I choose to work with the Candy corn monster and colored it with my promarkers. Found some signs on a Halloween Christmas paper with candy theme. I combined the ticket with the candy sign and wrote: to "Candy"land on it! =) Found some paper scraps that worked for the background and then a blue cs for the cardbase.

So this is my take on a creepy creature, not sure I would like to meet this candy monster on a dark night! =)

Smudgy Antics July Challenge: Anything Goes - with a twist

July's challenge at Smudgy Antics comes with a twist:

'' FOR THE LOVE OF POE''
We want to see your Poe inspired projects....
you can take inspiration from his poems... stories.... his life...from films inspired by his work..
think ravens...lost love... beating hearts... or orangutans!

I made a Poe box from a pink box with a plastic cover, that came with biscuit recipes and a cookie cutter. From pink to black, red and white. =)
The box is painted black and the little compartments are covered with a paper from the digital Poe boy paper kit with a heart pattern. Then I used a lot of Poe digis colored with red, gray and pale face color promarkers.
All the images are added with 3D pillows or tape, I used an edge scraper around the sentiment in the upper left corner.

This is the box with the cover on.

Smudgy Antics June challenge - Use no more than three colors

Time for my first post and I have used recycled material for this project! The twist this month is: Use no more than three colors! =)

It started with an empty strawberry box and packaging from dish brushes. =)

I used a lot of the Mer people from Smeared Ink and made an ocean scene, the paper with bubbles are from the dish brush packaging, the perfect setting for the Mer Queen and her attendants! =)
All the images are colored in green, blue and brown tones with my promarkers, also added glass pearls I bought at IKEA a long time ago as the ocean.
The swirls are made with Quikutz die and I used a dark green paper and a thicker paper with glitter on it.

Hope you will enjoy my project and join us in our new challenge! Remember that if you use an Smeared Ink image you are entered twice in the draw for winning a digital image and a rubber stamp!

Mine and only mine

I found this fabulous Dragon image and just had to make something with it for today's DT-inspiration on Smudgy Antics, it's called Skull Keeper and it was so much fun to color in many different green shades and I added glitter and pearl maker for the eyes. Did some shading on the skulls too, that was fun! =)

Just found papers that matched and hopefully makes the dragon stand out a little too, so used an Asian inspired paper and a matching background paper from another kit.

So hope you will enjoy today's card and join on in the fun in our Anything Goes challenge here at Smudgy Antics! =)

Don't forget to use a Smeared Ink image on your creation! =)

Grumpies rule

For today's inspiration at Smudgy Antics I did some recycling! I made pizza with pinapple rings on yesterday and realized that I could use the tin for today's project.

I printed out three grumpies and three sentiments, colored the grumpies in three different colors and shaded them. Then I cut out the sentiments and found a patterned paper to use as the background.

I glued everything on the tin and it looks fun, so I'm happy with it! =)

Don't forget to be able to enter our Anything goes challenge you have to use atleast one Smeared Ink image in your project! =)

Love is in the air

Time to inspire you all here at Smudgy Antics with a little zentangle love!

These images are made by Leigh Snaith-Burton and are unmounted rubberstamps called Autumn's Pencil! I thought they could show the love between a mum and her baby and a spring card instead of Autumn! =)

They are both colored with promarkers, then I added some white highlights with my white pen. The little cat is raised on 3D pillows and I added half pearls and glitter letters to the background, I also chalked the edges of the paper with a brown ink pad. The patterned papers are from a scrapbook club I used to be a member in.

Hope you will all be inspired to join in our "Anything Goes" challenge this month, just remember to use atleast one Smeared Ink image on your project to be able to join in on the fun! =)

Hang in there with Smeared Ink

I've made a card for today's DT inspiration for Smudgy Antics and used Other side of Fear - Girl 2 made by Alexandria Serrano for my card.

As usual I colored her first and then started to look for papers, I picked out three different papers and one little piece of leftover cardstock. I choose a design paper with autumn theme for the image and used the brown cardstock as a frame for it. Then I had another design paper that I used as the cardbase, in matching colors. Added a text with letter stickers, "Hang in there" for a bit of fun. =)

To enter our monthly "Anything goes" challenge, don't forget that you have to use atleast one Smeared Ink image on your creation, to be able to enter! =)

Smudgy Antics - Candy inspiration

Today's DT-post for Smudgy Antics is the September-October page in my calender.
I used Alexandria Serrano's Candy Girl for this page and colored her with promarkers. Added a blue glitterpen to her lashes to make them stand out and gold to her lips.
For the background I used a new Christmas paper with peppermint candy, which was perfect to this image. =)

As always to enter our Anything goes monthly challenge here at Smudgy Antics you have to use atleast 1 Smeared Ink stamp to be qualified to enter the challenge!

Smudgy Antics February Anything Goes Inspiration

Time for my first inspirational DT-post for Smudgy Antics blog this month and now it's time for the May-June page.  I have used one of Alexandria Serrano's images again, this one is called "More than chemical" and works perfectly for a Spring/Summer page.

I colored her with promarkers, added glitter pen and cut her out. Then I recycled a net bag we got a gift for Allan in and cut out a part of it and mounted it behind the image. My idea was to spray it with a Tattered Lace spray but can't find it so added glitter to it instead. So it sparkled a bit, not as much as my hand did afterwards though. =)

The background paper is from a small paper pack I bought before and it matches the image and it's colors nicely!

So now I hope you will join our challenge and don't forget that you have to you a Smeared Ink image to join in! =)

So come and play along with us in our Anything Goes challenge, just remember to use at least one Smeared Ink image in your creation! =)

Time for the January/February page in my calendar in today's DT-post for Smudgy Antics! =) I used Horn's single digi by Alexandria Serrano for this page and some matching paper from a set that came with the calendar.

The image is colored with promarkers, added glitter pen to the beads in her hair and some high lights with a white pen. Then I chalked the edges of the image and added two different patterned papers for the background and two chipboard hearts too.

Remember that if you are joining our Anything Goes challenge you have to use an image from Smeared Ink to be able to enter, a link to the challenge is found HERE! =)

Smudgy Antics Inspiration for January's challenge

My time to inspire you all as a DT at Smudgy Antics and this time I'm working on my calendar for 2015 and are using all Smeared Ink images! =)

My calendar front is made with Stars in her eyes by Alexandria Serrano. It's colored with promarkers and I tried to add some highlights with my new white pen. =) Then I found a fairytale themed paper I had a piece left of and it worked perfectly as the background. Added some halfpearls in two corners, then colored a chipboard arrow with light blue pearl maker and added some glitter numbers for 2015.

Here you can see the front of my calendar and I hope this will inspire you to join in on our January challenge, just remember, you have to use Smeared Ink images on your creation! =)
