Smeared Ink is back and here are the new challenge + hop for September

Smeared Ink is back again and to celebrate that we are having a blog hop here at Smudgy Antics! =)

I wanted to make something fun so used three dancing skeletons for my card, colored them and then added crackle accent on them for a more cracked look. Cut them out and added them to the card with just a little glue so that the limbs looks like they are moving. =)
Used a Christmas paper with party lights on it for the background + a Grumpie quote and a text I came up with. =) "what are you looking at." are the Grumpie quote and "haven't you seen skeletons dance before?" are my invention.

So hope you will like this festive card and join us on this new challenge "Anything goes" with the optional twist this month which is "Feeling a little grumpy". =) Just remember to use a Smeared Ink image, rubber stamp or digital stamp!

Smeared Ink New Release Blog Hop Giveaway

Since I love books I choose to work with a bookreading octoupus called Loved Alone Octopus!

I colored the Octopus in purple shades, added some gold to his monocle and used a dp with a steampunk feel that I bought on sale this weekend for the background. The sentiment is something I made up and typed in word! =) I got the cardbase from a Magazine mum bought last week! =)

"Friends are the Flowers of Life - Tiddly Inks Blog Hop"

I wanted to join the blog hop at Tiddly Inks today and to do that I had to make a card accordning to the theme:

"Friends are the Flowers of Life".  

I used the lovely Wryn - Grow a little love and a sentiment from Tiddly Inks! =)

The image is colored with my watercolor pencils and I distressed the edges with a white inkpad.

Bloghop and Fairychallenge

Starla firar sin födelsedag, ett år med bloggen och en massa följare med en blog hop och en utmaning. I utaningen gäller det att ha med en fe/älva på kortet, jag kom på att jag kunde använda en fin stämpel från Sweet Pea Stamps! =)

Phindy's Place Challenge Paper piecing and blog hop

Phindy's Place are having a fabulous blog hop and you have to look for letters to make a sentiment!

Then they are also having a challenge with "Paper piecing",  so I just the little Wee babbies "Fresh buns" image and printed it out on white, brown, pink and blue paper. The bathcap, the brushhandle and the tub are cut out and paper pieced. =) 

There are even a few of the Wee Babbies on sale during the hop!

Phindy's Place har en fantastisk blog hop och där ska man leta efter bokstäver som bildar en mening!

De har också en utmaning där man ska klippa och klistra, så jag använde en av deras nya Wee Babbies "Fresh buns" och skrev ut den på vitt, brunt, rosa och blått papper. Badmössan, borstens handtag och badtunnan är utklippta och klistrade på orginalbilden. =) 

Det är även rea på några av de Wee Babbies som finns under blog hopen!
