Part 2 of our Anything Goes/Performing Arts challenge at Art With No Boundaries are live now!
This time we also got to create with the beautiful Anna Mae Wong who was a chinese/american actress in the 1920's to 1930's! =) Chris Stern, CS Designs, has truly made some amazing art when creating these images! If you click on her name you can see her own creations on her blog!
I made a card with a dark backgroundpaper to make her stand out a little more, added filmstrips to the sides of the image, colored her with promarkers and sew beads onto the flowers in her hair to make them stand out a little more! =)
Very striking Elenor!
SvaraRaderaBeautiful! I really like the way you used the filmstrips to frame her image. The beads were a clever addition to the flower centers and the choice of sentiments is perfect for Anna May who was bold and herself. Great job, Elenor.
SvaraRaderaSå vackert :) Vädret har än varit bra, men regnet lär dyka upp när som. Kram
SvaraRaderaDet är ju nästan som en filmstjärneaffisch! Snyggt! Kram
SvaraRaderaPasslig fångad attityd där. Fräckt och med stil, jättefint :) Kram
SvaraRaderaLovely Elenor! Great image :)
SvaraRaderaLove the frame you created with the film strips and those sweet beads are such a wonderful touch! Gorgeous!
SvaraRaderaI really like this. The frame the way you have coloured her and most of all I love that you have sewn beads into her headress.
SvaraRaderaWhat a great card Elenor! Love the way you've framed her with the film strips (would love to know where you got those from) and the beads in her head dress is so creative. The sentiment is just perfect for the image, all in all, a beautiful card. :)
SvaraRaderaElenor, Love the soft colors you use on Anna May, quite nice against all that black.
