Quoth the raven challenge #37 - Tag along

I realized that it was a long time since I joined the challenges at Quoth the raven, so today I made a tag for the new challenge "Tag along".

I used an image from A day for daisies called "Raven waiting" and colored it with my promarkers, cut it out and used some scrap paper to create the tag. Kraft paper for the tag, some scraps for the background and I raised the image up on 3D pillows. The twine is recycled from a Christmas decoration I bought a while back.

12 tags of 2013 - February

I'm doing another one of Tim Holt's tags and now it's February with a Valentine theme, of course! =)

I made the background first with Distress ink: Fired brick and Spiced marmalade, spattered some water over and then inked in a bit more! 

For the playingcard part I used one Alice image from graphic 45's Halloween in Wonderland paper and added Glossy Accents to the hearts! The edge is made with my edge scraper that I finally found again! The image is mounted on foam dots!

I had an embossed paper (a cover from a chocolate box) and inked it over with a brown inkpad, to give it a different look and make the lettering more visible. Added a paper ribbon and some little heart half pearls! At the top is a red lace tape + two different ribbons! =)

12 tags of 2013 - January

I was checking comments yesterday and ended up on Tim Holtz blog and saw his tutorial for making January's tag, one of  the 12 tags of 2013 challenge at his blog!

After thinking and checking out my stash I decieded to give it a try, my first ever enrollment in his challenges. This is going to be a long explanation, so have patience! =)

So I began with searching my digital images and found the following:

Tiddly Inks - Gears2paper + Gears from the same set!
Graphic's Fairy - The clocks without fingers + the hand sign
Ginger's House - The wonderful sentiment
CS Designs - Filmstrip (got that during my DT, not in the shop)

After I had merged the background, gears and clock, I printed that out + the sign, sentiment and a filmstrip I got while being on the DT for CS Designs!
The first thing I did was cutting out the background as a tag, inked it with different chalks, inks and some distress ink, then used brown and silver ink along the edges! Added distress ink to the hand sign, also to the sentiment that I cut out! 
With the filmstrip I cut out the squares in it and used a double sided tape to add some plastic behind it, then fasten it with the sign using dimensionals. 
I used a QK die for the small gears, but in order to give them a metallic look I added aluminium tape onto a paper and ran that thru my cuttlebug! 
To highlight them a bit more, I added crackle accents and glossy accents to some of the gears! The sentiment is raised up with dimensionals and I added a clock charm beneath it!
To finish the tag i found some velvet ribbon + a paper ribbon that I tied at the top!

Digistamps4Joy Challenge #52 You've been tagged

Team B is on for this week of the challenge "You've been tagged" at Digistamps4Joy and since it's October and Breast Cancer Awareness month here in Sweden I wanted to make a tag with that theme! =)

I used an image from a Breast cancer awareness set we got a while ago + the matching sentiment for this tag and it's of course pink, used a Martha Stewart punch for the bottom of the tag too!
Then added a pink and red ribbon on the top of the tag! =)

Hos Peacock Feathers grupp på CDAC så fick man välja en av hennes digitala djurstämplar för att göra ett bidrag till hennes utmaning och jag valde att göra ett kort/tag med Fluffy, som du även kan hitta i hennes Etsy affär!

Ann frågade även om hon fick posta den på sin blogg, vilket var helt okej för mig, så den finns HÄR också!

Digistamps4joy Challenge #34 "An Unconventional Christmas Tag"

This is a little different challenge, your have to create a tag (no cards) with unconventional colors and the colors you have to use are pink, lilac and light blue - these have to be the dominant colors of your tag! 

We in the designteam got to choose different images and I choose "Oreo under the tree"! =) 

It was really a challenge to use only these colors and after I had choosen the image I thought that this will be impossible but I got it done and here are my tag:

Detta är en lite annorlunda utmaning, du måste göra en tag/etikett (inga kort) med okonventionella färger och dessa färger är, rosa, lila/syren och ljusblå - dessa måste vara de dominerande färgerna på din tag!

Vi designteamet fick välja olika bilder till denna utmaningen och jag valde "Oreo sittande under granen"! =)

Det var verkligen en utmaning att använda bara dessa färger och efter att jag hade valt bilden så tänkte jag att detta kommer att bli omöjligt men jag lyckades och här är min tag:
