12 Tags of 2013 - April

I have finally finished my April tag for Tim Holtz monthly challenge! =)

The items I used are cream cardstock, glossy accents, small gears from a clock, a metal corner decoration, a sticker (nr 4), a dragonfly image + a dragonfly charm, turquoise embossing powder, a round circle with the word FAITH on it, a quote from online about nature and my own leaf stamp + a turquoise ribbon, a lampshade trimming and a fuzzy ribbon!

The background is made with Distress Ink: shabby shutters, old paper and tea dye + ColorBox chalk Blue lagoon and Dark moss. =)

The dragonfly is colored with winkling h20: Teal Zircon, Dutch Iris and Kiwi!

12 Tags of 2013 - March

I might as well continue doing Tim Holtz tags of 2013, it's quite fun to try and make them with whatever I have at hand! =)

This is my tag for March, I decided to make it mosty green in different shades and the little bunny are from Nana Vic's Digitals, it's colored with promarkers and I added stickles to it! =)
The background is handcut after a package I save and the banner is handcut too! I used a quickutz die for the grass!I used a gray stamppad to ink the edges of the background and a brown to ink around the grass, the banner and on the ribbon!

Added a green ribbon with dot's three layers of flowers around a pin with a green heart, it's glued on with glossy accents!

12 tags of 2013 - February

I'm doing another one of Tim Holt's tags and now it's February with a Valentine theme, of course! =)

I made the background first with Distress ink: Fired brick and Spiced marmalade, spattered some water over and then inked in a bit more! 

For the playingcard part I used one Alice image from graphic 45's Halloween in Wonderland paper and added Glossy Accents to the hearts! The edge is made with my edge scraper that I finally found again! The image is mounted on foam dots!

I had an embossed paper (a cover from a chocolate box) and inked it over with a brown inkpad, to give it a different look and make the lettering more visible. Added a paper ribbon and some little heart half pearls! At the top is a red lace tape + two different ribbons! =)

12 tags of 2013 - January

I was checking comments yesterday and ended up on Tim Holtz blog and saw his tutorial for making January's tag, one of  the 12 tags of 2013 challenge at his blog!

After thinking and checking out my stash I decieded to give it a try, my first ever enrollment in his challenges. This is going to be a long explanation, so have patience! =)

So I began with searching my digital images and found the following:

Tiddly Inks - Gears2paper + Gears from the same set!
Graphic's Fairy - The clocks without fingers + the hand sign
Ginger's House - The wonderful sentiment
CS Designs - Filmstrip (got that during my DT, not in the shop)

After I had merged the background, gears and clock, I printed that out + the sign, sentiment and a filmstrip I got while being on the DT for CS Designs!
The first thing I did was cutting out the background as a tag, inked it with different chalks, inks and some distress ink, then used brown and silver ink along the edges! Added distress ink to the hand sign, also to the sentiment that I cut out! 
With the filmstrip I cut out the squares in it and used a double sided tape to add some plastic behind it, then fasten it with the sign using dimensionals. 
I used a QK die for the small gears, but in order to give them a metallic look I added aluminium tape onto a paper and ran that thru my cuttlebug! 
To highlight them a bit more, I added crackle accents and glossy accents to some of the gears! The sentiment is raised up with dimensionals and I added a clock charm beneath it!
To finish the tag i found some velvet ribbon + a paper ribbon that I tied at the top!

Just Inspirational Challenges + Doodle Pantry

I have made a card for Just Inspirational Challenges and they are sponsored by Doodle Pantry. =)

They have two inspirational photos to use for the card/creation and I picked a little of each! =)

The background is made with my water painting pencils, then I added a Tim Holtz collage stamp, colored the clock with a gold pencil and added a sheep from Doodle Pantry! =)

I will also add this card to Doodle Pantry's Challenge 23!
