July's challenge at Smudgy Antics comes with a twist:

'' FOR THE LOVE OF POE''
We want to see your Poe inspired projects....
you can take inspiration from his poems... stories.... his life...from films inspired by his work..
think ravens...lost love... beating hearts... or orangutans!

I made a Poe box from a pink box with a plastic cover, that came with biscuit recipes and a cookie cutter. From pink to black, red and white. =)

The box is painted black and the little compartments are covered with a paper from the digital Poe boy paper kit with a heart pattern. Then I used a lot of Poe digis colored with red, gray and pale face color promarkers.

All the images are added with 3D pillows or tape, I used an edge scraper around the sentiment in the upper left corner.

My weekly project for Smeared Ink and great news! =)

I was asked to be on the Smeared Ink DT until the spring term ends in June, could I say no, noway, had to say YES of course! =D *dancing around*

So here is my week 1 in May project, wasn't sure what to make but when cleaning out some stuff I found my partylite lantern, where you can change the cover. So perfect for this project! I begun with printing out one of Poe's Digital papers and printed it so it would just about fit, had to add some red cardstock so it wouldn't split apart.
Then I printed out some more papers from the digital kit with the Raven, cut out three Ravens and glued one onto red cardstock and two onto black cardstock and cut them out. After that I glued it onto the first paper and put it into my lantern, added the second glas between the paper and the outer glass, so that the candle in the middle wouldn't accidently set it on fire. 

I have taken pics with the candle lit and without, so here are a few and some close ups of the Raven. So for this project I only used papers from Smeared Ink's Poe Boy Digital Paper pack 12x12.

Two challenge in one, with a Poe theme! =)

When I was looking around today I found two challenges that I wanted to enter and the first one was Quoth the raven, Nevermore with a "Quest23 Tic Tac Toe" challenge! I used the middle row with Flowers (two brads), Raven and Lace!

I'm also entering this card into Smudgy Antics challenge "Burnt Offerings", made two fires with promarkers and burnt the edges over a candle! =)

Here is my card and I used a Rick St Dennis image I bought a while ago but never got to use until today! =)
