Recycle, Re-Purpose & Re-Invent

Here is my new creation for our new challenge at Recycle, Re-Purpose & Re-Invent! =)

I bought a canvas painting on sale but when I put it up it was all wrong, so I painted over the image with green and blue paint, made some patterns with punchinella, it was very popular in cardmaking and scrapbooking earlier.

Then I used the New Oceans Montage Sentiment Round from CS Designs and added two woodskewers I saved from when I bought chicken skewers for dinner earlier, I used sandpaper on them and painted them with my promarkers. 

Wrapped some twine around them to get a sea feeling and to me they resemble old oars! =) 

Added some paper seashells that I cut out from a sheet, couldn't figure out how to add real ones! 

Sunday release at Digistamps4Joy

Here is my card for this Sunday's new release at Digistamps4Joy, we all got to work with this adorable new babyimage and I just found out that one of my friends has got a babygirl, so this card will go to that little girl! =)

Used a dark pink cs, a patchwork paper for the backing and colored my image with promarkers and made a pattern on the floor! 

Added aplphabet stickers that says Congratulations = Grattis in swedish! 

Also found a little butterfly sticker for the right hand corner! =)

Bloggsemester/Blogvacation

Jag tar lite semester från bloggen, så har schemalagt lite inlägg och kommer att svara på kommentarer när jag kommer hem eller om jag får låna en dator när jag är borta! =)

I'm taking a vacation from the blog, have scheduled some posts and will answer comments when I get back or if I can get some computer time when I'm away! =)

Digistamps4Joy Challenge 47 - Stripes and Polkadots

Our new challenge at Digistamps4Joy is all about Stripes and Polkadots, so we had to get those two elements in our cards/creations! =)

I used the Cupcakes Galore for my card and I just love that image! =)

For my stripes I have my ribbon and the cupcake cases and the polkadots are the cherries on top and the chipboard speach bubble! =) It says Grattis which is the same as Congratulations!

Vår nya utmaning hos Digistamps4Joy handlar om Ränder och Prickar, så vi har all försökt få med dem i våra kort/skapelser! =)

Jag använde Cupcakes Galore till mitt kort och jag älskar den bilden! =)

Mina räder fick bli bandet och cupcake formarna, prickarna fick bli körsbären på toppen av cupcakes och prickarna i chipboard pratbubblan! =) Som ni ser så står det Grattis i den!

Tiddly Inks Challenge #91 - Sketch

I haven't done a Tiddly Inks challenge in a long time, so thought I'd do it now, especially since I just bought one of the newest images, that I used in this card + the sentiment are also from Tiddly Inks! =)

I used Dragon Friend and it was a delight to color! =) Used both promarkers and glitter gel pens! =)

Then I found a small doile for the background, added a lace tape and some brads!

Sommar candy hos Ellen

Ellen, en tjej från Norge har ett superfint sommar candy på sin blogg och många fina saker, så tänkte att jag skulle passa på att prova om jag har lite tur! Candy är öppet till 5/8 om jag inte minns helt fel! =)

Art With No Boundaries - Anything Goes & Just Clowning Around Part 2

Time for part 2 of our Anything Goes & Just Clowning Around challenges at Art With No Boundaries! =)

We are still using the lovely Harlequins from CS Designs and this time I got to use Harlequin Square and got the suggestion to make a doll, since I didn't really now what to do!

So a doll is what I made, used a doublesided paper where one side was mostly white and pink and the other black and white! 

The head is made with the Irregular Square Spirelli shape and I added washi tape around it with a diamond pattern! 

Then I used a backing paper for razors as a template to create the shape of the body and cut out arms and legs in almost the same shape!

 I used the If you see a friend sentiment also from CS Designs! =) 

Then I just added some small stars to the head and arms, the arms and legs are fastened with brads!

Avadares first challenge -Summer Heat

Teresa, a crafting friend I've seen creations from online has just started her first challenge blog, Avadares, together Sara Dawn, author and illustrator! =)

So when I found this and saw that they had a free image for their first challenge I decided to try my luck and enter a card! The sentiment is my own, and it's printed out and then I added the flower and the waterdrop!

Found a fitting background paper and a pink cs for the background! =)

Gårdagens loppistripp

Igår så tog jag, mamma och syster en tur till Tavelsjö och besökte först en liten loppis, hittade inget där men skulle nog ha kollat upp den gröna tresitsiga bäddsoffan som fanns till salu i ett hus bredvid! =)

Efter det körde vi till Blå Eld och kollade in deras sortiment, de hade en del nya saker sedan jag var där förra sommaren och vi hittade alla några fina saker.

Detta är mina fynd! =)

Sedan blev det en tur till Bygdegården, där de också hade loppis, hittade en gammal brun flaska där från Arvidsjaurs Bryggeri som jag köpte! Vi passade också på att fika där, mamma och jag åt kladdkaka med mint och syster åt en kardemumma kaka! Såg en jättefin gammal T-Ford också! =)

Efter det svängde vi in till Hissjö badstrand och kollade in loppisen där, fanns lite fina saker men inget jag kände för att köpa just då! När vi körde tillbaka till stan så pratade vi om Borghällagård utanför Täfteå och efter en tur om till mamma där vi kollade vägbeskrivningen så fick jag ta över och köra dit, det var lite krokigt och en smal väg, inte många som väjde så bra in på mötesplatserna men vi kom fram i alla fall. Lite trädgårdssaker, mycket vintage/shabby chic saker och jag hittade en superfin vägglykta men den kostade lite för mycket dock! Så vi kikade in i det lilla antik/loppis tältet som fanns nedanför och där hittade jag en kaffekvarn till en kompis, så den blev inhandlad! =)

Vi passade också på att besöka fiskehamnen i Rovågern och shoppa lite rökt sik i Kvarkens Fisk gårdsbutik! =) 

Tog lite kort också! =)

Sunday's release at Digistamps4Joy

It's time for another Sunday release at Digistamps4Joy and the theme for today is "Back to school"!

I made a lovely card with the backpack/satchel drawn by Jen, colored it with promarkers, printed out two images and cut out the second backpack and mounted it on 3D pillows, so it stands out a bit. 

Then I added a paper with a border that I got from lovely Faye to the inside and just cut of a piece of it to add to the front. 

There I stamped a sentiment that says "Tänker på dig" which is "Thinking of you" in english! =)

Digistamps4Joy Challenge 46 - What's your weather?

A new challenge is up at Digistamps4Joy called "What's your weather?" and this time it's only for 7 days, so you have a week to show us what your weather is like right now! =) 

I used the "Gardening is a pain" for my card, but in my case it's not a pain just joy, although my back can hurt a bit sometimes too! 

My garden is on my balcony and I'm dragging my watering can out and in instead of a hose! =)

The text on my card says "My summer" in swedish! =)

Det händer saker på min balkong

Efter att fått veta att jag måste hjälpa naturen på traven så har det börjat komma chilifrukter på mina (Sweet) Orange Baby med hjälp av en pensel och korspollinering! =)

Dessutom börjar en av mina eldskronor blomma och den är verkligen tjusig!

Min vilda vitlök kommer med blommor också, i en härlig lila färg! =)

Art With No Boundaries - Anything Goes & Just Clowning Around Part 1

Time for a new theme and challenge at Art With No Boundaries, as usual the Anything Goes + Just Clowning Around Part 1 for the bonus round! =)

We got to use different Harlequin images and the Spirelli kit that Chris from CS Designs has created!

I used the oval shaped Harlequin and colored her first with my promarkers, then cut her out and placed her on the Spirelli rectangle shape. 

I had colored the edges on the spirelli shape + wrapped fuzzy ribbon around so it looks like she has a nice collar on! =) Then I added a selfadhesive magnet to the back and got a very beautiful magnet! =)

Smartson - Testat Lindahls Mymoment

Jag fick äntligen tag i Lindahls Mymoment som jag skulle testa för Smartson i veckan, närmare bestämt i onsdags, letade i alla ICA butiken nära mig men det var endast ICA Maxi som hade den och då bara med jordgubbssmaken! 

Hade inte insett att det var så små förpackningar men de var dock väldigt goda och bra för min mage! =)

Har kvar två stycken, en kommer snart att slinka ned men den andra får vänta tills imorgon!

Glatt överraskad av den snygga förpackningen, hoppas kunna testa blåbär i framtiden också!

Så får ge denna väl godkänt i min test! =)

Danspaus/Dancing break

Jag har en danspaus från nätet just nu, ikväll är det dax för fjärde kvällen med dans och har kompisar som bor hos mig just nu! Lovar att svara på kommentarer och kolla upp vad som hänt i bloggvärlden imorgon och till veckan! =)

I'm having a dance break right now, it's our fourth danceevening in a row tonight and I have friends staying here right now! I promise to stop by and check up on what's happening in the blogworld later on and answering comments too! =)

Digistamps4Joy - Challenge 45 - Black and White + One other color

Time for Team B to show of our creations for this challenge, I used the Zebra from Digistamps4Joy. 

As you may have read in my eariler post this challenge is all about Black and White + One other color, so the one other color I use is for the eye! 

I used a cornflower blue promarker and added glossy accent to the eye!

I also found a quote online that I thought was the best one for this image!

As long as we have zebras in our midst,

I shall be content.

Art With No boundaries - Anything goes/Summer skies Part 2

Time for Part 2 in Art With No Boundaries Anything goes/Summer skies challenges, hope you will find some inspiration to play along with us! =)

We got to use a different Cosmo from CS Designs this time, still used that celestial theme I was working on but more of a fantasy background for this one! =) 

Colored her with my promarkers, added some white highlights and glitter pen on her mouth + gold stars!

Min syster och hennes bästis har varit till Japan i 16 dagar och haft en toppenresa. Idag var jag och mamma på besök hos henne och kikade på bilderna från resan, rätt intressant att se allt och få veta lite mer om resan! =)

Fick lite roliga saker när hon kom hem också, så tog lite bilder på dem, allt från wasabi till en t-shirt! =)

Här är en gruppbild, två olika wasabi, ett vykort, wasabidressing?, choklad med wasabi, en Totoro pin, Totoro stämplar, grönt te, stickers och coola sockar! =)

Har också hunnit varit på bio med syrras bästis och sett The Amazing Spiderman, den var riktigt bra och vi såg inte den i 3D men det gick bra det också! =) Gillade den och det var lite ny twist på handlingen! =)

Annars mest umgåtts med syster och mamma i helgen, hunnit fika med en kompis på Café Göteborg också, ätit sushi, tacos och fått lite mer ordning här hemma innan jag får besök till veckan! =)

Ska roa mig med att baka imorgon, kakor och knäckebröd blir det nog!
