12 Tags of 2013 - April

I have finally finished my April tag for Tim Holtz monthly challenge! =)

The items I used are cream cardstock, glossy accents, small gears from a clock, a metal corner decoration, a sticker (nr 4), a dragonfly image + a dragonfly charm, turquoise embossing powder, a round circle with the word FAITH on it, a quote from online about nature and my own leaf stamp + a turquoise ribbon, a lampshade trimming and a fuzzy ribbon!

The background is made with Distress Ink: shabby shutters, old paper and tea dye + ColorBox chalk Blue lagoon and Dark moss. =)

The dragonfly is colored with winkling h20: Teal Zircon, Dutch Iris and Kiwi!

Digistamps4Joy Midchallenge #65 "BLING on a SHAPE" reminder

The theme for Digistamps4Joy's challenge #65 Bling on a Shape was to make an easel card with bling on it! =)

I haven't made an easel card for a while, so looked online and then cut a cream colored cardstock and  folded it, used up a scrap paper with dots and added a green cardstock piece that was cut with Provo Craft scissors to make it look like fabric! =)

The image or three images are called Mummy Dummy and I merged them with Word, colored them with Twinkling h2o and then cut out a sparkly green dress from self adhesive glitterfoam! =) Added some gems to the mummy dummies and to the sentiment that I found online on a page with fashion quotes!

Christmas Progressive Challenge 4

Time for a new Christmas Progressive Challenge at Lady Anne's Challenges and it's our 4th challenge! It began only yesterday so you have a month to join in! =)

I used the Christmas Wreath for my card and it's colored with my promarkers and a gold glitterpen! =)
I used a white lace sticker to add some frame around the image on the side where my paper didn't frame itself! =)

Mitt Kina swapkort/My China swapcard

Nu har mitt Justcards swap "Kina" kort kommit fram till Denise i Australien så nu kan jag visa upp det här på bloggen! =)

Jag använde mig av China Bell från Digital Doodling, ett mönstrat papper, ett mynt och en bambu die. 
På bambustammen så lade jag till crackle accent för att få till en fin yta! =)

My Justcards swap card with a China theme just arrived in Australia and Denise liked it, so now I can post it here on my blog! =)
I used a digital stamp from Digital Doodling, a patterned paper, a coin and a bamboo die! On the bamboo I added crackle accent to give it a nice surface! =)

Justcards Kina/China swap

Vi har som vanligt haft en swap/kortbyte i vår Justcards grupp på Yahoo och denna gången var temat "Kina" på det bytet jag var med på! 
Kände att det inte var så svårt att göra ett sådant kort, men då mitt inte kommit fram ännu så kan jag visa det fina kortet jag fick från Reta! =)

We have as usual had a swap in our Justcards group at Yahooand this time the theme was "China", so I decided to join in on that!
Felt it wasn't so hard to make a card like that but since mine hasn't arrived yet, I'm showing you the one I got from Reta! =)


By the way Reta is the name of the girl I swapped with, but it's also the swedish word for tease, as a friend overseas found out yesterday before I translate this! =)

Midchallenge reminder for Challenge 64 at Digistamps4Joy

Digistamps4Joy's challenge #64 has the theme "Anything Goes" and since we all hope for Spring soon, atleast up here in the north of Sweden with the snow we got this weekend!

I made a Spring themed card with the lovely image called "Sharon", she's colored with my promarkers in soft tones.
For the cardbase I used a orange cardstock, then found a butterfly paper from Inkido that I used as a background for her and cut out some extra butterflies for decorations! =)

Art With No Boundaries April Ezine - Guest Artist

I'm again a guest artist at Art With No Boundaries and this time for the April issue! =)

This is what I made:

Babushka Surprise Card

I have had Little Babushka Nikita for some time and decided to make a card with her, I got idea to make it like a real Russian doll. =)

I first printed out three different sizes of Nikita, colored her with my promarkers and now came the hard part, how to get all three to show between each other.

I found some eyelet's from my stash and used my tool to make holes in the side of the upper and lower part of the two bigger Nikita's.

Then I added the eyelets and put them all together, so that if I pulled them to the side I could see first one below the other and then the last one was behind the others!

That was quite the trick to make it work and I'm happy it did.

I used a green patterned paper for the background and an orange cardstock for the card, added an orange flower in the upper corner with a half pearl to match the other colors!

I'm going to try this in some other form later on too, since it's fun to make new kind's of cards and surprise the people who get them! =)
