Quoth the raven challenge #37 - Tag along

I realized that it was a long time since I joined the challenges at Quoth the raven, so today I made a tag for the new challenge "Tag along".

I used an image from A day for daisies called "Raven waiting" and colored it with my promarkers, cut it out and used some scrap paper to create the tag. Kraft paper for the tag, some scraps for the background and I raised the image up on 3D pillows. The twine is recycled from a Christmas decoration I bought a while back.

A darker ATC

I made a darker ATC for a swap at Delicious Darkness at FB! It's the darker side of Delicious Doodles! =)
I used the skull ornament and colored it with promarkers, added some glitter pen and a glow in the dark skull sticker. Added gems for the eyes and used a brown stamp pad to darken the patterned paper from green to a more shady look! =)
The die on top is from a wedding invitation card that was left over, so I used it to hang the ornament from. =)

Lot's of challenges with the theme Hearts & Love now so thought I'd enter Dilly Beans challenge with the same theme too! =)

I used Unicorn girl's heart for my card and colored her with my promarkers and added crackla accent to the horn and the heart! Then I had some chipboard corners that I used to frame the image! =)
Added a dp with hearts and the text love behind her and tried to distress the edges a bit!

Smudgy Antics Challenge - Make an ATC + a story behind the image

Smudgy Antics has a new challenge and the theme is to make an ATC! =)

I got some inspiration and made this one, colored it with my promarkers and added a white highlight to the eyes. Then I found some halloween scrap paper, gold corners and a orange polka dot ribbon! =)

There is a story behind me using this image, it's a donation image that stamping friends get from Smeared Ink when you donate $5 or more to the The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, read more about it HERE!

Christmas Challenge #7 at Lady Anne's Challenges

Time for a new Christmas Challenge at Lady Anne's Challenges and this time I'm back from my holiday and got a wonderful card done! =)

We are sponsored by Nana Vic's Digitals and she had some lovely images that we could choose from, I used the one of Santa's Surfing and a sentiment for my card!

I colored the image and added a beach background since Santa seems to be posing for his summer pics! =) Then I used a green patterned paper with "God Jul" which is Merry Christmas in swedish! 

Midchallenge #66 Women are special at Ds4j

Time for the midchallenge #66 "Women are special" at Digistamps4Joy and toda we are showing off out Team B's creations, which include my card! =)

I used Juliette for my card and added a sentiment also from Digistamps4Joy! The image is colored with promarkers and added to a blue patterned paper! =)

CDAC Anything Goes challenge

I finally got one card made for the new challenges at Crafters Digital Art Center or CDAC and it's for the Anything Goes challenge and the image I have used is the Owl with banner from Nana Vic's Digitals! =)

I made this into a birthday card for my boyfriend's aunt and she loved it, gave it to her yesteday! =)

The image is colored with promarkers and added some highlights with a white gel pen, then a striped paper and a green cardstock as the cardbase! Added four half pearls and drew some stitches around the images + added stickers that says 50! =)

Midchallenge reminder for Challenge 64 at Digistamps4Joy

Digistamps4Joy's challenge #64 has the theme "Anything Goes" and since we all hope for Spring soon, atleast up here in the north of Sweden with the snow we got this weekend!

I made a Spring themed card with the lovely image called "Sharon", she's colored with my promarkers in soft tones.
For the cardbase I used a orange cardstock, then found a butterfly paper from Inkido that I used as a background for her and cut out some extra butterflies for decorations! =)

Digistamps4Joy Midchallenge #63 - Easter

Time for Team B's Midchallenge reminder for challenge #63 Easter at Digistamps4Joy! 
The theme is to show how we celebrate Easter and if I could I would go around with bunny ears on, looks so much fun! 
We usually exchange small Easter gifts, eat good food and  just relax!

I used the lovely Easter image Egg Decorator Estie and colored her with my promarkers! The background paper is a freebie from Papercraft Inspirations! =) Glad påsk is Happy Easter in swedish! =)

I made a birthday card for my friend's little boy and hope he will atleast like the colors, he's only two! =)

Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge #74 Pin-up Girls

I saw at Sharons blog that the theme for Wicked Wednesday Challenge #74 was Pin-up Girls and then I realised that I had a perfect image for that, Ike's Art Girly Pin Up! =)

I printed her out and colored her with my promarkers, gold and orange for the hair and two kinds of green for the fabric, blush and dusky pink for the skin! =)

Added a green paper with gold in it for the background, strip of patterned paper and a sentiment from a paper kit!

12 tags of 2013 - February

I'm doing another one of Tim Holt's tags and now it's February with a Valentine theme, of course! =)

I made the background first with Distress ink: Fired brick and Spiced marmalade, spattered some water over and then inked in a bit more! 

For the playingcard part I used one Alice image from graphic 45's Halloween in Wonderland paper and added Glossy Accents to the hearts! The edge is made with my edge scraper that I finally found again! The image is mounted on foam dots!

I had an embossed paper (a cover from a chocolate box) and inked it over with a brown inkpad, to give it a different look and make the lettering more visible. Added a paper ribbon and some little heart half pearls! At the top is a red lace tape + two different ribbons! =)

Birdie Brown February Freebie Challenge

Birdie Brown are offering a freebie for their February freebie challenge and it's called "Sewing Jar".

I saw a card made with it on a friend's blog and just couldn't resist to make one also!

So here is my card, I printed out two images, cut out the hearts, the heads of the pins and the ribbon and mounted them on foam dot's, then I embellished with lot's of small buttons I got somewhere a long time ago! =)

Midchallenge #60 - Romance is in the air

Time for us in Team B to do the midchallenge reminder at Digistamps4Joy and it's all about love! =)

Challenge #60 is called "Romance in the air" and we have all done cards that show love in different ways! =)

I just had to use the lovely "Lil Pigz Heart" for my card and has made it for a friend of mine! =)

I used a paper from a cardkit and then added some red roses. The little pig is colored with promarkers and I added stickles to the heart so that it shines! =)

12 tags of 2013 - January

I was checking comments yesterday and ended up on Tim Holtz blog and saw his tutorial for making January's tag, one of  the 12 tags of 2013 challenge at his blog!

After thinking and checking out my stash I decieded to give it a try, my first ever enrollment in his challenges. This is going to be a long explanation, so have patience! =)

So I began with searching my digital images and found the following:

Tiddly Inks - Gears2paper + Gears from the same set!
Graphic's Fairy - The clocks without fingers + the hand sign
Ginger's House - The wonderful sentiment
CS Designs - Filmstrip (got that during my DT, not in the shop)

After I had merged the background, gears and clock, I printed that out + the sign, sentiment and a filmstrip I got while being on the DT for CS Designs!
The first thing I did was cutting out the background as a tag, inked it with different chalks, inks and some distress ink, then used brown and silver ink along the edges! Added distress ink to the hand sign, also to the sentiment that I cut out! 
With the filmstrip I cut out the squares in it and used a double sided tape to add some plastic behind it, then fasten it with the sign using dimensionals. 
I used a QK die for the small gears, but in order to give them a metallic look I added aluminium tape onto a paper and ran that thru my cuttlebug! 
To highlight them a bit more, I added crackle accents and glossy accents to some of the gears! The sentiment is raised up with dimensionals and I added a clock charm beneath it!
To finish the tag i found some velvet ribbon + a paper ribbon that I tied at the top!

Mid-challenge #59 at Digistamps4Joy

We are having a Anything Goes challenge at Digistamps4Joy and this is the midchallenge #59 reminder with Team B's creations! =)

I choose to work with the beautiful geisha Michiko for my project! I bought a few matchboxes after christmas on sale and decided to alter them and make them more for everyday use. 
First I colored Michiko with my promarkers and cut her out, then I picked some napkins with an asian style and used my decaoupage glue to add them to the matchbox!
In my stash I found some asian charms and it made the perfect embellishment to my matchbox together with Michiko! =)

Mid-challenge reminder #58: Oh my... how time flies!

Time for us in Team B to have the mid-challenge reminder of challenge #58 - "Oh my... how time flies" at Digistamps4Joy! =)

There is a lot of different ways to interpret this challenge and I used the lovely image "Dream" for my card.
When I dream time sure flies fast and I think that applies to more people than me too! =)

New challenge at Digistamps4Joy

It's time for challenge #58 at Digistamps4Joy and the name of this is "Oh my, how time flies".
