Smeared Ink - My weekly DT-project (and a litte boob warning this time too!) =)

Better late than never, here is my weekly DT-project for Smeared Ink and since time got out of hand I used another of the new releases from "The Abyss"! =) Not only that, I used wrapping paper from Japan, a friend was over there to study japanese and she helped me buy some teapots and cups. So all the purple waves are from that paper! =)

I colored the mermaid with promarkers in green and purple tones. Added a teagreen shading around her and around the sentiment. Then I cut out a lot of waves and glued them onto a paper I got from a craftkit. After that I added the mermaid and sentiment with 3D pillows and added some halfpearls in a light green tone to the waves!

Hope you will like what I have done and if you want to now more about Smeared Ink you can visit the store or our Smeared and Smudged forum! =)

Monthly blog hop at Smeared Ink + Weekly DT-project

Time for the May DT hop at Smeared Ink and the theme this time is "Alter something"! I had a couple of ideas but didn't have time for some of them so made it easy and altered a candybox. =)

I used images from The Abyss set (only available from the Rubber Club), since I wanted to try and color the mermaid and the beautiful fish! =) Also used the little fish and coral from the same set.

The mermaid is colored with promarkers and glitterpens, I made her green with blue hair in different shades of blue. The fish was colored in orange, gold, goldyellow and red. Added glitter to some parts and that will show in the photos below. Then I colored the little fish and coral too. I had some scraps of homemade paper that looks great torn, so I tore out some parts with green leaves and that gave the feel of unerwater movement.
All this was glued onto a tall circular box that had contained chocolate, unfortunatly I forgot to take a pic of it before, so only have pics of the finished product. Thought I'd fill it with other candy and give it away as a gift alter on! =)

Here is the order for the hop, so you will find your way around to the others on the designteam! =)
