February Freebie at Sparkle and Glitter RSD

If you did buy an image at Rick St DennisZibbet  store (or you can buy images in his Etsy store) you got the February Freebie "Happy heart day" for free! So I just had to do some shopping and just finished my card! =)

I used a brown patterned paper to make the image stand out a bit from the heart paper, printed out the text in Word and added a brown cardstock as the cardbase! I posted it in the February Monthly challenge at Sparkle and Glitter the Rick St Dennis EDT Blog!

A Valentine

I made a Valentine for the Freaky freebie challenge at the Smeared and Smudged forum and we got a freebie to use called Phlem from the Monster heart set! =)

My boyfriend keeps saying it looks like a snail but I know better, it's a heart of course! =)

I colored it with my promarkers,  added a rose from a napkin with decoupage glue to the dotted paper and then added a blue cs as the cardbase! =)

Bonus Valentine challenge at Shelly's images

I saw that they were having a Bonus Valentine Challenge at Shelly's Images and just had to do it, especially since we got to use the wonderful images with the heart, lock, key and sentiment! Since we have until February 28th to submit our entries there are plenty of time left, but I got an idea and finished my card yesterday evening!

Got a link for a fun and easy way to make a Trifold Shutter Card Tutorial with adaptation and it was so perfect for this challenge! =)

I watched the video and wrote down all the details and it was so easy that I will use this more in the future!
For the card I used a thicker paper I got for a bargain at Dollarstore, then printed out all the images and colored the hearts with my promarkers, the lock and key is also colored with them + some gold pens!
Added crackle accents to the lock and key as a nice touch! =) Used a red cs for the sentiment and chalked the edges with a black stamppad! For the writing area I used a sticker lace and chalked around the edges of the white papper! The heart is raised with foam dots! =)

I'm also adding this to the Seasonal Fun challenge at CDAC! =)

Freebie Friday at Ds4j

It's time for Freebie Friday at Digistamps4Joy and the new thing is that you have to set up an account at the store, which is easy and then when checking it out, it's free! =) It will be free for 3 days!

We in the Design Team have done some projects and here is mine:

I used the box template + two of the digis from the Valentine set! =) Added a flower and some hearshaped pearls! =) The image is colored with promarkers and I added gold along the framing! =)

Guest Artist at Art With No Boundaries Ezine Vol 2

I was asked if I wanted to be a Guest Artist at Art With No Boundaries Ezine for January, so I decided to accept and this is what I made for it! =)

Victorian Valentine Heart

I bought this heart in wood with silver coloring at a sale 2 years ago and left it in a drawer and found it when I was looking for something else just before christmas!
I realized that it would be perfect for a Valentine hanging, so decided to work with it!

The things I used for this is a wood heart, soft pink cardstock, promarkers, glitter pen, ribbon and glue!
The designs used from CS Designs are: Angel Face x 2, Victorian Deco Heart 1 and How do I love thee background.

I first printed out the background on soft pink cardstock and traced the heart so that I would get a good background fit inside the heart, next I glued the background to the back of the heart. After that I printed out the Angel Face and mirrored one of them, colored her in soft tones and added some silver in her eyes! I also colored the heart and cut out the rest of the designs and placed them inside the frame!
I added a ribbon on the back as a hanger with my gluegun! 

I'm happy with the how it turned out and think it will be a fantastic hanging for Valentine's Day!

Godisburk/Candy jar

Jag har använt några av CS Designs nya hjärtan och en perfekt Alla hjärtan dags text till att dekorera en plåtburk som ska fyllas med choklad till någon trevlig på Alla hjärtans dag! =)

I have used some of CS Designs new hearts and a Valentine sentiment to deocorate a tin jar I had saved, going to fill it with chocolate and give it so someone nice on Valentine's Day! =)
