Digistamps4Joy challenge #56 Baby it's cold outside

Time for the midweekly reminder of our challenge "Baby it's cold outside" at Digistamps4Joy! =)

We had a recipe for this challenge, two patterned paper, one image and three snowflakes! =)

I used two patterned paper and one with just a darker color as a photomat! One of the patterned papers has snowflakes on it, so that's there too! =) I used the lovely little Snowman image called Festive Snooze! =)

Friday freebie at Digistamps4Joy

Time for a Friday freebie at Digistamps4Joy, this time it's something a little different but perfect for the coming year! =)
It is a SET of calendar months for 2013, compiled by Margy, and is perfect as a gift for the new year! 

My plan was to make a nice calendar for today but time ran away from me, so will make one and post later on! =)

Art With No Boundaries = Ezine

Art With No Boundaries has changed from a challenge blog to an  "Expressive and Innovative Mixed Media Ezine for Paper Crafters, Collage and Assemblage Artists" and it went live just the other day! =)

I am one of the guest artists in this issue and I love the concept of an Ezine + there are so many wonderful craft ideas and inspirations to get with this! Since we are closing in on Christmas you might get some great idea for different crafts and some about how you can recycle those things you save and don't know what to make off! =)

There is also some prizes to be won, you can check out the interactive zone for more information! =)

Just nu i bokklubben så läser vi mitt val, Dawn Frenchs underbara bok "En liten smula underbar", halva ska vara klar till på onsdag men jag läste klart det förra veckan. =) Ser fram emot att läsa hela om den dysfunktionella familjen Battle!

Några andra böcker jag läser just nu är bla:

"The double shadow" av Sally Gardner, en författare jag läst tidigare och gillar!

Denna boken är lite mellan vår värld och en annan dimension, utspelas under andra världskriget och har mycket spänning och olika vändningar!

Sedan läser jag en ny bok av Mark Haddon - "The red house", det han som skrivit Den besynnerliga händelsen med hunden om natten! Denna handlar också om en familj som har sina problem och som ska tillbringa semester med mammans bror och hans nya familj, inte helt okomplicerat!

Den sista boken som också läses just nu är Scott Lynch's andra bok i serien om Locke Lamora, "Red Seas Under Red Skies", har inte hunnit så långt i den men den är spännande än så länge!

I helgen läste jag äntligen ut Pride, prejudice and zombies av Seth Grahame Smith/Jane Austen, den var ju helt klart mer blodig än sin föregångare men samtidigt så var det lite häftigt också! =)

Ett nyårskort

Jag gjorde ett nyårskort i lördags med en freebie vi fick i nyhetsbrevet från Rick St Dennis och bland de som lade ut den på FB i lördags så kunde man vinna två av hans digitala stämplar, jag blev den lyckliga vinnaren med detta kortet! =)

De har även en Creepmas hop via hans ena blogg, Airless Chambers, så jag roar mig med att hoppa runt där och spana in de olika skapelserna som hans EDT har gjort! =)

Sunday release at Ds4j

Another set of great images are released today at Digistamps4Joy, you can see cards made with some of them on the Digistamps4Joy blog and check out all the images in the store here! =)

We in the Design Team had the lovely Gwendoline by JenLee to work with and I colored her with my promarkers, added some glitter to her eyelashes and the neckline of her dress + a snowflake brad! =)

She will be a great Christmas card to one of my friends! =)
